Bachat Kavach - Group Term Deposit Linked Insurance Plan
 
Bachat Kavach is a group term insurance contract. The basic of this scheme is to provide the economical coverage to the large groups with the common interest or people involved in the similar occupation. It covers people from 16 to 79 years of age in case of employer – employee groups and 16 to 64 in case of informal groups.

The plan has the experience rating option so it provides for the adjustment of premium in case of favorable experience. Premium payment mode for this plan can be Monthly, Quarterly, half-Yearly, Yearly in case of employer-Employee group and Yearly and half yearly in case of non employer – employee group.

The minimum sum assured is Rs. 1000 per member. The Accidental death and dismemberment & critical illness riders are available with this plan. Grace period of 30 days is allowed in case for all modes except monthly mode where the grace period is 15 days.
